Note: This talk will majorly discuss the theoretical aspects and some knowledge of general relativity is helpful.
The talk aims to provide a brief overview of the Path Integral formalism of Quantum Gravity. I will discuss the Einstein-Hilbert Action of Gravity, the Conformal Mode Problem, and Hawking's (remarkably simple) derivation of the Black Hole Entropy. If time permits I will touch upon the Schwarzian corrections to near-horizon geometry of near-extremal black holes.
